Bijar carpet is a carpet with high density and compact and fairly long lint that is thought about as a rural carpet weaver in Iran.

Antique Bijar rugs are woven with balanced knots. Usually, an old Bijar carpet has 3 weaves of thick wool that are positioned in between the ridges and specialized utilizing unique metal tools or a heavy iron comb. Today, Persian Bijar carpets are all of the two-weave type. The abundance of rows of wefts makes Bijar carpets have an unique look and solidity and are referred to as iron carpets. These rugs are woven in a range of sizes, from little rugs and half rugs to big rugs.
